4 kilometers on the road to Periyapalayam after Karanodai is Manjakaranai village and Vaithyanadeswarar Manjakaranai temple is on a small hillock to the right of the road. The approach with good long steps is dirty and you have to take care while climbing. The temple could be normally open only in early mornings and evenings.
