Kailasanadar Kaveripakkam is a small east-facing temple with a single spacious Prakaram. The entrance is through a gateway mandapam in the east. The Sanctum Sanctorum is entered through doors in the east and south. A small mandapam is common in front of the sanctum of the main deity and the shrine of the goddess. A Nandi and lion mount face the main deity and goddess respectively. A new metal-plated flagstaff is being installed in front of the goddess shrine. In the Prakaram is a nice Vinayaka idol installed along with Naagar.

Kailasanadar Kaveripakkam is off the Kammalar Street inside Kaveripakkam Village. Refer to our map for the exact location. The streets are narrow but vehicles can be taken to the temple.

None locally except tea shops. The closest is the Chennai – Bangalore highway for food. Just before Kaveripakkam on the highway is Murugan Idli Kadai.
