Veetrirundha Perumal Vengamangalam is a small and beautiful east-facing temple with a spacious Prakaram. The temple has been renovated in recent times. The entrance is through a gate in the east. A 4 pillared Mukha mandapam precedes the entrance to the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord. The main deity is in a sitting position on a seat created by the multi-headed serpent Adisesha with his hood over the Lord. On either side are his consorts Sreedevi and Bhoodevi. The Paalar River flows further south of the temple.

Veetrirundha Perumal Vengamangalam is 3 kilometers southwest of Ocheri. While going from the Chennai side, after Ocheri take a left, cross Sirukarumbur temples and turn south towards Paalar River. Cross the Thiruparkadal river which is a minor branch of the Paalar River and Veetrirundha Perumal Vengamangalam is on the right side of the road before Paalar River. There is a Shiva temple nearby and another Shiva temple near the bank of the Paalar River.
