Kailasanadar Kuttithottam is a small east-facing temple that has been renovated recently and is beautifully maintained. A single Prakaram houses the shrines and the Sanctum Sanctorum. This was revered as the 8th Nava Kailasam by some devotees during the time when the Rajapathi temple was washed away by floods in the Tamiraparani River.
