Chenraya Perumal Agaram is an east-facing temple with an entrance gateway in the east. There is a stone Dwaajsthambam outside the gate. There are separate east-facing shrines for Vinayaka and Chenna Kesava Perumal on either side of the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity. On the north side is a large Nandavanam (garden) with an installation of Vishnu Mangala Sudharshana Chakram. In the center is a Tulsi (Holy Basil) plant representing Mahalakshmi and on the eight sides are Sakthi Peedams. The installations are located on a huge Swastik Symbol on the ground. the garden has many Tulsi and flowering plants. The Thirumanimuthar River that originates from the Shervaroy Hills and draining into the Cauvery River, flows on the east side of the temple about 200 meters away.
