Karpoora Narayana Perumal Singalandapuram is a west-facing temple with a stone Dwajasthambam outside the entrance gateway on the west side. There is a Vinayaka and Naagar installation under a Banyan tree near the Dwajasthambam. This is followed by a Balipeedam and Garuda in the Prakaram. A single prakaram houses the sanctum sanctorum. Before the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity is a newly constructed mandapam. The Lord is seen in a sitting posture with his consort Goddess Mahalakshmi on his lap.

Karpoora Narayana Perumal Singalandapuram is an old temple as is evident from the stone inscriptions found on the base of the sanctum sanctorum. But it has been rebuilt in recent times retaining some of the old elements. Historical information is not available as of now.
