There are indications of an outer Prakaram looking at the balipeedam and mandapam outside, but it does not exist now. The entrance gate leads into a mandapam followed by the Maha Mandapam and an Ardha Mandapam before the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity. The main deity is in a standing posture with his consorts.
