Soundararaja Perumal Somangalam is an ancient temple with the lord in standing posture flanked by Goddesses Sridevi and Bhoodevi. An old Deepasthambam made of a single granite is seen opposite the shrine. The main Mantapa here is built in Kerala style with tiled roof.
