Kasi Viswanathar Vasaputhur is a small east facing temple without any compound wall. The lingam is small. This temple is considered a Sidhdhar Peedam (where a Sidhdhar has attained samadhi). The Naagar is in a separate shrine under a Neem tree as are the Navagrahas. Remnants of a temple tank is seen, but not very sure.
