Aadhikesava Perumal Nedumaram is a medium sized temple with a tall 5 tiered Rajagopuram at the east. The temple has a single spacious Prakaram. At the entrance to the Sanctum Sanctorum on either side are two Vinayaka Idols along with Kalinga Narthana and Naagar idols. There are two stone inscriptions, from 1911 mentioning grants to the Aadhikesava Perumal Nedumaram temple. An idol of Vignasacharyar is present here which is not very common and is said to be only found in 5 temples. The Anjaneya idols is a recent addition.

Aadhikesava Perumal Nedumaram is 3 kilometers Southwest of Koovathur on the ECR. Koovathur is 3.5 kilometers on the right side of the ECR after crossing over the Paalar River bridge when you go from Chennai.
