Thirumaeni Easwarar Vilambur is a small east facing temple situated amidst fertile lands and has a large pond in the front. The temple consists of just the Sanctum Sanctorum. The Sanctum Niches are empty. The temple has been painted nicely and presents a beautiful picture from outside.

Thiru Maeni Easwarar name came about because of the large size of the Lingam, we were told, at Thirumaeni Easwarar Vilambur.
Thirumaeni Easwarar Vilambur is about 3 kilometers from Odiyur Junction in the ECR. This junction is about 21 Kilometers after crossing the Paalar river Bridge when you go from Chennai. The temple is near and visible from the main road.
