Chidambareswarar Kallidaikurichi is a very small east-facing temple situated on the south bank of a Canal of Tamiraparani which starts off at Ambasamudram and continues for a distance towards the east. Chidambareswarar Kallidaikurichi has 2 Prakarams and a small Mantapam at the entrance to the inner Prakaram. A Vinayaka idol is installed just outside under a Peepal Tree. An old idol of Lakshmi Varaha is also seen outside.

Chidambareswarar Kallidaikurichi is on the western side of Kallidaikurichi town and north of the Adhi Varaha Swamy temple. The roads near and outside the temple are very narrow.
