Kariamanicka Perumal Idaikkal is a small east facing with 2 Prakarams. The outer Prakaram does not have shrines. The entrance to the inner Prakaram is through a gateway mandapam. The Mahamantapam and Ardha Mantapam lead into the Sanctum Sanctorum. The inner Prakaram is small and runs around the sanctum sanctorum. The Mantapams here at Kariamanicka Perumal Idaikkal have some beautiful pillars with Yaali carvings.
