Amritheswarar Irupali is a small west-facing temple situated in an open Prakaram. On the west side facing the lord are three Nandi idols. There is a viewing window to see the main deity in front of the Nandis. On the north side is the shrine of the south-facing goddess. The entrance inside is through a small door on the south side. A common Maha Mandapam is present before the main deity and the goddess. An Ardha Mandapam is before the sanctum sanctorum. There is another long and slender Shiva Lingam in a shrine behind the Sanctum Sanctorum of the main deity. The temple was undergoing renovation during our visit in 2021. There is a small Perumal temple also behind the Shiva temple in the same village.
