This leads inside the single large Prakaram enclosed by high walls. There is no Rajagopuram. A large Mahamandapam from where both the main deity and goddess can be seen is present. An ardha mandapam leads inside the Sanctum Sanctorum. Outside the temple is a Temple Tank called the Amarakandan Tank. Nearby is the ancient temple of Alagu Nachiamman.
