Banukoteeswarar Valayamadevi is a small east facing temple with a compound wall and entrance from the south. A gate leads to a large Temple tank in the front. There were a few ancient idols lying outside. The Nandi looks beautiful and the Lingam here is big.

Banukoteeswarar Valayamadevi is about 21 kilometers east of Vridhachalam on the Sethiathope road. The temple is inside the village and the place is actually called Keezh Valayamadevi. There is also a large Perumal Temple in the main road.
