Airavateswara Temple, Soolakarai is a very old and historical temple built by the Cholas from some stone inscriptions found here. References to this temple is seen in the inscriptions in the Tanjore Big Temple.


Soolakarai is in the middle of the triangle formed by Pochampalli, Samalpatti and Kallavi, closer to Kallavi. You can select your route depending on which side you are going from. Refer to our map for the exact location
