Theerthagireeswarar Temple, Theerthagiri is an old but renovated east facing temple situated on a small hillock, beautiful location. there is an old stone flag staff. The large shiva statue outside catches your eye immediately as you approach.

Directions

From Krishnagiri reach Bhoodhimutlu (Veppanapalli). Then proceed further to Nachikuppam where the road forks. Take the left road which goes to Kolar gold fields and drive for about 3 kms to reach the temple. You can go back to the fork and take the other road to see the Shiva temples at Manavarnapalli
