Kaattu Narasimhar Varattanapalli is an old east facing temple with a small entrance structure. Behind the temple at two different spots are the left and right footprints of Narsimhar. Right footprint is at the Varadanagiri hill and left footprint is at the Bodiparai Murugan temple. A large rock carved idol of Lord Hanuman is found in this temple.
