Tirugnanasambandar, his wife along with the guests attending his marriage are believed to have merged with the lord’s light here at Tirunalloorperumanam.
After Chidambaram cross the Kollidam river bridge and take the second left (Aalakudi Road) going to to Mahendrapalli. Tirunalloorperumanam, Achalpuram is about 5kms in this road. The first left also goes to Mahendrapalli, so do not get confused. Refer to the map below for exact location of the Tirunalloorperumanam temple.
Chidambaram and Sirkali are the closest places and have several hotels and restaurants. Of special mention would be the Krishna Vilas hotel on the west side of the Chidambaram temple.
