Kazhi Sitrambala Natteeswarar lived in the 14th century and Sitrambalanateeswarar Sitharkadu temple should have been built around the period after him.
It is believed that 63 Sidhas congregated here to perform a large Yaga here at Sitrambalanateeswarar Sitharkadu.
