Agneeswarar Kalamavur is an east facing temple situated in a single Prakaram. The original sanctum sanctorum was in the south side of the present structures and the place is marked. All the structures are new constructions while the original temple itself is old. The temple is quite crowded with the shrines in front of the sanctum sanctorum. The shrines of Saptamadar, Ganesha and Muruga are behind. There is a large and dry temple tank north of the Agneeswarar Kalamavur temple. In front is a new under construction west facing temple for Lord Vishnu as Renganadar.
