Ekambareswarar Kachupalli is a west-facing temple with an entrance gateway on the west side. The shrines and the sanctum sanctorum are situated in a single beautiful Prakaram. A beautiful Nandi in a mandapam faces the lord. An open pillared mandapam is in front of the Ardha Mandapam and the Sanctum Sanctorum. The main deity is a large lingam about 4 feet tall including the base. The shrine of the Goddess is in front of the sanctum of the main deity and faces north. The goddess is also a large idol, about 4 feet tall.
