Ekambareswarar Semmandipatti is a small east-facing temple situated in a single Prakaram. Entry is through a gate on the east side. The front portion of the temple is dedicated to Kasi Viswanathar, which is said to be a later addition. The rear portion is the temple of Ekambareswarar. The old temple has completely disappeared and a totally new and modern-looking one has been constructed. The Shiva Lingam and Goddess are said to be the original old idols and all other idols are new. The temple is well maintained and looks beautiful in its own way. When you visit please meet the person in charge to understand his part in renovating the temple.

Ekambareswarar Semmandipatti is about 10 kilometers northwest of Omalur off the road going towards Salem Airport and Dharmapuri. At the Kamalapuram Junction before the airport take a left towards the west to reach Ekambareswarar Semmandipatti.
