Kailasanadar, Kannantheri is a very small east-facing temple with an entrance from the north through a small door. The shrines and sanctum sanctorum are situated in a single open prakaram. The temple is extended with a Perumal Temple, Amman Temple, and a Vinayaka temple with separate entrance gates on the east side.
