Abathsahayeswarar Mullipattu is a small and beautiful with a 3 tiered Rajagopuram in the east. The Sanctum and shrines are situated in the single Prakaram. The temple was undergoing renovation as we visited in September 2020. The main deity is a small Lingam kept in a hut awaiting consecration. The temple is situated on the banks of the Naga Kamandala river which flows in the north.

Abathsahayeswarar Mullipattu is an old temple, but the recent renovations have nearly wiped out the ancient aspects of the sanctum sanctorum. The Lingam and Nandi indicate that this is an old temple.
