Hanumantheeswarar Annakavur is a small east facing temple with an entry gate at the east. A single prakaram houses all the shrines and the sanctum sanctorum. A stone Dwajasthambam, Balipeedam and Nandi are in front. The Lord is visible to the Nandi through a window. To the right of the Nandi is a small south facing shrine with Kanakadurga, Bhairava and Surya. The base of the sanctum sanctorum is built of stone. To the east of this temple is a Perumal temple and behind in the west is a Droupadi Amman Temple.
