Neelakandeswarar Adayalapuram is a small east facing temple with an entrance gate from the south. The sanctum sanctorum is situated in the single Prakaram and surrounded by flowering shrubs. The temple has been beautifully painted up recently and is well maintained. A tall stone Dwajasthambam is present in front of the sanctum sanctorum. A tall concrete standing Anjaneya idol has been erected facing south. There are remnants of a dry pond north of the temple which could be the temple tank.
