Shiva Elangadu is a small temple that is almost completely lost. The unprotected Sanctum Sanctorum is covered around with weeds and practically unapproachable. The Shiva Lingam has been taken out and kept in a small shed outside with a large and beautiful Nandi outside. The tall stone dwajasthambam, Nandi Mantapam is still present. The ancient stone construction is still intact. Urgent attention is required to rebuild and revive this ancient temple.
