Aadhilingeswarar Aathanur is a small east-facing temple with an entrance mandapam in the east. A single prakaram houses all the shrines and the sanctum sanctorum. An old Nandi is found in the banks of the River flowing in the north. The temple situated on the banks of a minor river is a very peaceful place. There are a few other small temples around including Perumal, Amman, and others.
