Agasteeswarar Sambavar Vadakarai is a small east-facing temple situated on the banks of the Hanuman Nadhi which flows in front. The river flows through rocky terrain here and among them is a small cave with a lingam in it. Sage Agastya is seen in penance before the Lingam. There are a few more carvings on the rocks around.
