Meenakshi Sundareswarar Melpavoor is a small east-facing temple with separate sanctums for the main deity and goddess situated in a single Prakaram. The Mahamantapam in front is common and connects both the sanctums. The structures are made of stone. The temple is situated on the banks of the Pavoor Canal.
