Karunellinadar Thiruthangal is a small temple on a small hillock with a Muruga temple at the top. Entrance is through steps in the east and also from the side of the Vishnu Temple behind. A common Mahamandapam is in front of the sanctum of the main deity and the shrine of the goddess. This mandapam has retained all the old stone structures like pillars and ceiling and painted them up. The flooring is completely new with marble tiles.
