Udhayamarthanda Perumal Theroor is a small and beautiful old temple. The east facing temple is entered through a gateway at the east. There are twp Prakarams. A Mahamantapam and Ardha Mantapam precedes the Sanctum Sanctorum of the lord where he is seen with Sreedevi and Bhoodevi on either side. The sanctum is built of stone. A new feature with Garuda on a pedestal flanked by lions is installed on top of the outer wall facing north east. There is an old Vinayaka Temple north of Udhayamarthanda Perumal Theroor.
