Kalyana Prasanna Venkatramanar Mohanur is a beautiful east-facing temple with a 3 tiered Rajagopuram on the east side. On either side of the gopuram are Mukha Mandapams like extensions with nice stucco images on them similar to the gopuram. There is a canal in front and further behind flows the Cauvery River on the southwest side. After the Rajagopuram is the Balipeedam, Flagstaff and Garuda Mandapam. A single partially covered Prakaram houses all the shrines and the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity. The lord is in a satnding posture here at Kalyana Prasanna Venkatramanar Mohanur. On the southwest is the shrine for Padmavathi Thaayar and on the northwest side is the shrine of Aandal. All the Vimaanas are beautiful. The temple has been renovated recently and is very nicely maintained similar to all the other temples in Mohanur. There is a Kali Amman temple on the north side. There is a Shiva Temple, Karuppanna temple, and Sellandi Amman temple in and around Mohanur.
