Kariavaradaraja Perumal Pallipalayam is a beautiful east-facing temple situated on a small hillock. The road goes up almost till the top. From there a short flight of steps leads to the temple. There are two small prakarams around the sanctum sanctorum. A small lily pond is below the temple. The main deity is in a standing posture with his consorts Sreedevi and Bhoodevi. The temple has been beautifully renovated in recent times. The Cauvery River flows about a kilometer west of Kariavaradaraja Perumal Pallipalayam.
