Adhikesava Perumal Kovilur is a beautiful little temple undergoing renovation as we visited in March 2020. The consecration ceremony is to be conducted in April 2020. The east facing temple is with a single Prakaram. The temple is entered through a gateway with Ganesha and Naagar shrines on either side.

Adhikesava Perumal Kovilur is about 9 kilometers south of Cheyyar and can be reached via Annakavur and Mulagiripattu. There is an ancient Shiva Temple nearby. Annakavur also has a beautiful Perumal temple and an old Shiva Temple.
