Rajagopalaswamy Ayyaneri is a small east-facing temple situated in a single beautiful Prakaram. Goddesses Sreedevi and Bhoodevi are in separate shrines on either side of the sanctum sanctorum of the main deity. The sanctum sanctorum has carvings of Venugopala and Narasimha in the sanctum niche areas. There is a small shrine for Vinayaka outside in front of the entrance gateway.

At about 2.5 kilometers after crossing the National Highway 44 under the bridge while going from Kovilpatti take a left to reach Rajagopalaswamy Ayyaneri which is on the western side inside the Ayyaneri village.
