Azhagiya Manavala Perumal Karuvelankulam is a small east-facing temple with a single Prakaram. Set amidst beautiful fields and a backdrop of hills the Lord here is a 5 feet tall stucco idol along with his consorts. The pillars and Mantapam has some beautiful carvings.

Take the road to Cheranmahadevi from Kalakkad and take a left at 2 kilometers onto Padhai – Manjuvilai – Pachaiyar Reservoir road and go for half a kilometer to reach Azhagiya Manavala Perumal Karuvelankulam. There is a Shiva temple also before this temple. Driving on in this road will take you to the Shiva Temple at Paadhai.
