Gopalakrishnan Krishnapuram is a small east-facing temple with a single Prakaram. The entrance is through a small gateway Mantapam in the east. The Mantapam and the sanctum walls have some nice carvings.

Gopalakrishnan Krishnapuram is an old temple as is evident from the carvings and the architecture style. Historical information is not available as of now. We were told by locals that the 600 year old temple was on the other side of the village and due to land allocation issues relocated to its present spot.

Gopalakrishnan Krishnapuram is about 19 kilometers north of Tenkasi and after Kadayanallur in the Rajapalayam Road.
