Varadaraja Perumal Kunnathur is a small east-facing temple with an entrance gateway in the south. A single prakaram houses the sanctum sanctorum and the shrines. There is a Mahamandapam and Artha mandapam before the sanctum sanctorum. The sanctum is a beautiful structure with many carvings and ornamental patterns.
