Venugopalaswamy Krishnankovil is a small east-facing temple with a Mandapam at the entrance. This mandapam has some beautiful carvings on them and is a gopuram without the upper tiers. The temple is situated in a single prakaram filled with nice flowering plants. There are cloistered mandapams around the prakaram. A Maha Mandapam and an Ardha Mandapam are in front of the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Lord. The main deity is seen in a standing posture with his consorts.
