Jalakandeeswarar Kottamedu is a medium sized temple which has been spruced up in recent times and still retains its ancient charm. A single Prakaram houses the sactum sanctorum and the shrines. A Mahamantapa and Artha Mantapa lead to the Sanctum. There is a large well inside the compound which is filled with trees and plants.
