Malleeswarar Mannivakkam is a beautiful east facing small temple in a peaceful and quiet village. The locals support the temple’s activities but somehow the expansion and Kumbabishekam (Consecration) ceremony of the temple is pending for reasons beyond control. The lingam and the original small shrine was protected for long as part of a house by the locals during the Muslim invasions. Later the temple was built up gradually in a small way.
