Brahadeeswarar Kazhipattur is a small temple where the main deity and Kalabhaurava are believed to be ancient. The east facing temple is entered through a gate in the north. The temple has a single small Prakaram where all the shrines are situated. There is a small and protected lotus pond to the north of the temple. There is an old stone carving of Kali kept separately.

History

Thiruvageeswarar Kayarambedu is a Chola period temple. Stone inscriptions mentioning the donations made by Rajaraja Chola has been found here.
