Vrithagireeswarar Unamancheri is a small east facing temple. The Navagrahas here are arranged in a circle all facing different directions, unlike the usual formation. Vrithagireeswarar Unamancheri temple is protected with a compound wall. The Lingam is large and beautiful.

Vrithagireeswarar Unamancheri is 1.25 kilometers south from the Bus stop at Kolapakkam Village which is 3 kilometers before Vandalur when you come from Kelambakkam, Mambakkam side.
