Aadikesava Perumal Vandalur is an ancient temple with a circular sanctum like the Gajaprasta Vimaanam seen mostly in Shiva Temples. This is a very small temple in a very narrow lane. There are stone inscriptions all around the sanctum base. There is another Perumal temple on the other side of the main road adjacent to the Panchamukha Anjaneya temple.

Aadikesava Perumal Vandalur should go back several hundred years as is evident from the stone inscriptions on the base of the Sanctum and the style of the Sanctum. We were informed that students from the Madras Christian College came and traced the inscriptions, the details of which are not available as of now.
