Sivan Thirupurakovil is an ancient and dilapidated east facing temple situated on top of a small hillock. The location is peaceful and beautiful. There is a stagnant pool of rainwater on top with water lilies. The original stone temple has broken down and the Deities have been shifted to a small shed temporarily. A beautiful Ganesha temple is situated on the opposite hillock alongside a large pond. An Amman shrine is at the base of the hillock.
