Vadavamuga Agneeswarar Vedal is a large temple which seems to have lost out over time. The huge Gajaprastha Vimaana is dilapidated in parts and the walls of the outer Mantapa are in bad shape. But work has been taken up and shrines for Ganesha and others are being built. During our visit in 2018 the Temple tank was also being spruced up.
