Chennakesava Perumal Chengattur is a small temple with a Mantapa leading to the sanctum built with a tiled roof and wooden rafters. The stone Dwajastjamba is outside the entrance gateway and has carvings of Garuda, Anjaneya, Changu and Chakra on the four sides. There is a small well inside the temple.
